The DEMAX 5 is a robust multi-function flashback arrestor designed for connection at cylinder regulators and tapping points. Manufactured in Germany and compliant with DIN EN ISO 5175-1 and AS 4603, it combines multiple safety functions into one compact, serviceable device to protect personnel and equipment in industrial gas systems.
Integrated Safety Functions
Gas non-return valve (NV): prevents reverse gas flow and dangerous mixtures
Flame arrestor (FA): stops flashback propagation
Temperature-sensitive cut-off valve (TV): shuts off gas flow if excessive temperature is reached
Dust filter (DF): protects internal components from contamination
100% factory tested for safety and performance
