Our History
Foundations of Precision Manufacturing
Bulgin was established in 1957 by skilled boilermaker Don Bulgin, producing high-quality welding and gas fittings from his workshop. His commitment to precision, reliability and craftsmanship laid the foundation for a trusted brand across welding, fabrication, agricultural and industrial sectors.
Continuing the Legacy
Following Don’s passing, leadership transitioned to his grandson, Ryan Williams, who expanded the company’s range of Australian-made burners, torches, fittings and specialist gas components. Under his guidance, Bulgin Gas Equipment became a national supplier renowned for dependable products designed for real-world industrial applications.
A New Era Under Marquard Ventures Australia
In October 2025, Bulgin Gas Equipment was acquired by Marquard Ventures Australia Pty Ltd and rebranded as Bulgin Group. This strategic transformation has strengthened technical capabilities, broadened market reach and positioned the company as a multi-division organisation serving diverse industries with innovative gas solutions.
