The Bulgin® Heat Sink Carbon Dioxide Regulator is a professional-grade CO2 shielding gas regulator designed to provide accurate, consistent gas flow for MIG welding and industrial applications.
Featuring an adjustable 0–35 L/min CO2-calibrated flowgauge, the regulator allows precise control of shielding gas delivery to support stable welding performance and consistent weld quality.
Manufactured with a distinctive aluminium fin-style heat sink body, the regulator uses ambient air to help warm the regulator during operation, reducing the risk of freezing associated with pressure reduction when using 100% CO2 and high-CO2 gas mixtures.
The regulator incorporates a rear-entry Type 30 cylinder connection, integrated safety features and protective gauge covers, making it suitable for professional workshops, fabrication and industrial environments.

Heat Sink Technology – Reduced Freezing
Carbon dioxide undergoes significant cooling during pressure reduction, which can cause conventional regulators to freeze during sustained or high-flow operation.
The Bulgin Heat Sink Regulator incorporates an aluminium fin-style body designed to increase the surface area exposed to ambient air.
This allows heat from the surrounding environment to transfer into the regulator, helping counteract the cooling effect of CO2 pressure reduction and maintain consistent gas delivery.
The heat sink design supports continuous CO2 flow of up to 100 L/min at 10°C ambient temperature, subject to operating conditions, helping minimise interruptions caused by regulator freezing.
Adjustable Flowgauge Control
The regulator features a 0–35 L/min CO2-calibrated flowgauge, allowing operators to adjust shielding gas delivery according to their welding requirements.
Accurate flow adjustment helps maintain consistent shielding gas coverage, supporting stable arc performance and reducing the risk of weld defects associated with inadequate gas protection.

Designed for Professional CO2 Welding Applications
The combination of precision flowgauge adjustment, aluminium heat sink technology and integrated safety features makes the Bulgin CO2 Heat Sink Regulator a practical solution for professional welding environments.
Designed to maintain reliable shielding gas delivery while reducing the risk of freezing, the regulator supports consistent welding performance across demanding workshop and industrial applications.
Note: The flowgauge is calibrated for CO2 and should only be used with compatible shielding gases and equipment. Actual flow performance and resistance to freezing will depend on ambient temperature, cylinder conditions, gas composition and operating demand. Ensure the regulator is correctly connected and operated within its specified pressure and temperature ratings.
