Understanding Tip Sizes

The Super Heating Tip range is designed to provide increasing heat output as tip size increases. Smaller sizes are suitable for general fabrication and medium-duty heating applications, while larger sizes provide the high heat input required for substantial workpieces and demanding industrial processes.

Selecting the appropriate tip size helps maximise heating efficiency, minimise processing time and optimise gas consumption for the application.

Operator Guidance

For optimum performance, set oxygen and LPG pressures to the recommended values shown above and adjust the flame to achieve the desired heating profile. Ensure flashback arrestors are fitted to both oxygen and fuel gas lines and that hoses, regulators and equipment are suitable for the required gas flow rates.

Always follow relevant oxy-fuel safety procedures and ensure adequate ventilation when operating heating equipment.
